Our Story

Our Founder and Attorney's legal career began 20 years ago where he obtained his first Law Degree and served as a judge in Eritrea. In his tenure, he witnessed first-hand the harm of inequitable outcomes and the consequence of not having legal safeguard on citizens. Like many of his clients, our founding attorney fled his home country himself. Over the course of his career, Mr. Gebreselassie has attended hundreds of interviews and court hearings of applicants and respondents. His extensive legal education and professional experience makes him uniquely suited to help guide you through the process.

How We Can Help

Fiancé(e) Petition

We will file I-129F form to petition and can do the consular processing for your loved one to be able to come to the U.S. and reunite with you.

Adoption Petition

Our office will help file your Immediate relative Petition, the Petition to classify your orphan child as Immediate Relative, and all other related petitions and applications, and do the consular process to help bring your adopted child to the US.

Asylum

We will file your I-589-Application for Asylum, I-765, supporting documents, prepare you for your interview and attend your as your interview as your attorney/s.

Visitor Visas

Consultation services, preparation of your invitation package and help completing your visitor’s Non-Immigrant Visa Application form.

Green Card

File your application for adjustment of status (and all other applications based on your underlying application), we will to respond to requests for evidence and, if scheduled for interview, we can attend your interview.

Deportation Defense

If you are placed in a removal proceeding and have valid grounds of relief such as claims for an asylum protection of cancellation of removal we will file your applications, supporting documents and represent you at your hearings as your attorney/s.

Clients Should Know

What types of cases does your law firm handle?

We mostly handle immigration cases. However, we also handle limited cases involving name changes, business(company) formations, etc.

What should I bring to my consultation?

If you have pending legal proceeding or copies of decisions pertaining to your case we as that you bring copies of your immigration documents or files and Identity documents.

How do you take payments?

You can make payments on Zelle or write a check. We also accept cash.

Do you provide out of state services?

Yes, we provide out of state immigration services.

How do you bill for legal services?

Often clients who need services the types of which we provide typically can’t afford to hire a lawyer and pay fees for all hours of services; and that is why we have the hourly and flat fee options. That is also why we have installment plans as we can’t expect all clients to pay all of their legal fees/costs/ upfront. Thus, we would start with a retainer agreement, followed by a monthly or periodical payment option. We are transparent about our fees.
